El Torrezno Filipino

"We discovered El Torrezno by chance, literally next to our Airbnb apartment, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a warm and authentic atmosphere. The person that helped us was incredibly kind, welcoming, and great at recommending dishes for us to try. We had never eaten Filipino food before, and we absolutely loved it: unique flavors, delicious dishes, and a really interesting experience overall. If we had stayed longer in Madrid, we would definitely have gone back. Highly recommended!"

"My husband tried this FILIPINO RESTAURANT 2 years ago and loved their LECHON KAWALI & TAPA. So I was exited to try it on this trip to Madrid. We arrived at 7:30 as it opened for dinner service. I remove one star in service because we were served our food 45mins after we arrived. It was quite long and the other tables that arrived after use were served ahead. But the SISIG, LECHON KAWAL & FRIED RICE were so worth the wait! The turron served with ube is a must! Great for sharing. The servings were huge but our Filipino hearts were happy. If there can be a suggestion for improvement, I would say the sticky floors and tables could be degreased."

We tried a few different dishes and I would say they were all yummy. Their Kare-Kare was superb and their Halo-halo was to die for. The owner/chef was very welcoming and friendly.
